  • Renewal of Ministerial approval for 3 years granted by the Interministerial Delegate for Standards. 

 

2021

  • Modification of Decree 2009/697 of 16 June 2009 on French standardization by Decree 2021/1413 of 10 November 2021.

 

2019 - 2021

  • Renewal of Ministerial approval for 3 years granted by the Interministerial Delegate for Standards. 

 

2016 - 2018

  • Renewal of Ministerial approval for 3 years granted by the Interministerial Delegate for Standards. 

 

2013 - 2015

  • Ministerial approval for 3 years granted by the Interministerial Delegate for Standards.

  • BN Pétrole legally attached to EVOLEN, an association created by the merger of AFTP and GEP.

 

2009 - 2010

  • New decree 2009/697 on French standardization.
    Delegation agreement between BN Pétrole and AFNOR in March 2010.

2005

  • Introduction of biofuels into the scope of activity of CEN/TC19 “Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin”.

 

2004

  • Publication of European specifications for super fuels and low-sulphur diesel fuels in line with European directives.
  • Publication of the European standard on the specifications of Methyl Esters from vegetable oils mixed in diesel fuels (biofuels).
1994

1994

  • BN Pétrole’s Products and Methods Department appointed (commissioned) by AFNOR.
  • It now represents AFNOR as Committee Member in the technical committees of CEN
    (European Committee for Standardization) and of ISO
    (International Organization for Standardization) dealing with petroleum products. 
  • Becomes the Chair and Secretariats of SC 1 (Petroleum products and lubricants)
    and SC 4 (Classifications and specifications) of ISO/TC28 (Petroleum Products).

 

1993

  • BN Pétrole legally attached to the AFTP.
  • Creation of CEN/TC 12 = Materials, equipment and offshore structures
    for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries TC equivalent of ISO/TC 67.

 

1991

  • BN Pétrole recognised by AFNOR for monitoring Standardization for the Oil Industry.
  • France becomes the Chair and Secretariat of ISO / TC67 / SC 6
    (Processing equipment and systems) 
    and the Petroleum Equipment Department created within BN Pétrole

  • Technical Committee TC 19 created in CEN (Petroleum Products and Lubricants)
    to harmonise the specifications and measurement methods for petroleum products in Europe.

  • BN Pétrole created within the UFIP for providing measurement methods necessary for regulation, via AFNOR.
